Online bingo provider, Bingo Entertainment Ltd has become one of the latest companies to have been awarded a full UK Gambling Commission Licence.

The Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act, which came into force in the UK on November 1 of last year, requires operators or software providers accepting UK-based players to acquire UK Gambling License in order to accept UK traffic.

Bingo Entertainment Ltd has received a full UK license as opposed to a continuation license and plans to open up again to the UK market on March 7th after temporarily having to suspend UK operations on November 1 of last year.

The new licence will ensure that customers accessing any of Bingo Entertainment’s bingo websites will be safe in the knowledge that their details are secure, their gambling experience will be fair and the services are both legal and regulated.

Richard Chambers, CEO of Bingo Entertainment said:

“We are delighted to be regulated in the UK. The UK is at the forefront of internet gaming regulation and the acquisition of a licence considered the most prestigious in online gambling, will ensure Bingo Entertainment remains ahead of the curve in such a fast paced and expanding industry”.

“The licence is a testament to the hard work and integrity we have been striving for since establishing the company in 2000 and will ensure our players feel safe in the knowledge that we are now regulated by the most stringent and rigorous commission in the world.”
